What We Accomplished in 2022

Loudoun4All worked tirelessly this year to stay informed on community issues and provide reliable information to the public. We worked closely alongside community partners to elevate their messages of equity and inclusion. We have become a valuable source of factual information to support policy-based improvements and counter right-wing information. With your support, we look forward to expanding this role in 2023.


Year round:

-Encouraged constituents to speak on issues of equity and inclusion at Loudoun County SB meetings

-Shared Loudoun teacher wishlists to encourage donations to educators in need

-Research, messaging, and education about local issues in our Loudoun community

-Numerous interviews with various media sources to counter right wing talking points 

-Continued support of equity in Loudoun County Schools 

-Communication and coordination with community partners in support of equity


January:

-Joined Loudoun NAACP and Equality Loudoun to fight the School Board Recalls

-Hosted Mask Rally at LC Govt Building


February:

-Attended Housing Justice rally hosted by New Virginia Majority


March:

-Live tweeted the Equity in Education meeting hosted by MSAAC


April:

-Advocacy for various area schools teacher appreciation weeks

-Attended LCPS town hall strategic planning meetings throughout the county 


May:

-Hosted Teacher Appreciation Week rally supporting educators in Sterling



June:

-Hosted Summer social event at Rocket Frog

-Served as a sponsor for Loudoun Pride hosted by Equality Loudoun

-Aligned with community partners to host March For Our Lives local March in Sterling

-Coordinated emergency food distribution for families in Leesburg and advocated for additional distribution sites throughout Loudoun.

-Sponsor for the NAACP Loudoun Golf fundraiser

-Statement published in Loudoun Now partnering with Network NoVa, 4 Public Education, and Loudoun Dems about ongoing attempts to malign LCPS


July & August:

-Attended Bans off our Bodies protests in support of bodily autonomy in Leesburg


September:

-Hosted Protect Public Education Rally in partnership with Equality Loudoun in support of public education and to push back against Gov Youngkins anti trans policies. Collected menstrual hygiene products for Mobile Hope.


October:

-Created, printed and distributed Fact Sheets to be passed out at polling locations throughout Loudoun during early voting and on Election Day

-Sponsor for the Loudoun NAACP Gala

-Sponsor for GenVoter LLC Tie Dye for Democracy


November:

-Partnered with various community groups including Hamkae center in support of accurate and inclusive history and to push back against Gov Youngkins revisions to standard of learning 


December:

-Organized the #HateHasNoHomeInSouthRiding rally

-Shared various hate speech graffiti information with the public and advocated reporting incidents when found

-Signed on to a petition with Defense of Democracy
